Don't know about everyone's. One of mine is 'jambalaya' (never tasted
it though).
Favourite multiple words are "Let's go" and "Would you like..."   :-)
Don't you think you ought to tell us what yours is?

I've always been quite fond of "defenestration". In my younger days, I would
send cards to special friends on May 23, the anniversary of the
Defenestration of Prague in 1618.

"Scum" is another favorite. It looks like a short word but it reverberates
subsonicly for quite a while after being spoken: scum-mmm-mmm-mmm.... "Scum
on the dog!" is a curse I use when slightly vexed.

Just one more: "Lozenge" has a nice ring to it. I named my river kayak
"Half-wet Lozenge".

They Bohemians shouldn't have tossed those Hapsburg officials out of the
upper windows. As they say "Paybacks are a bitch."

Fun to say, lots of good cosonant sounds, and easily avoided. I've never had
occasion to use it.

"Banana".

There is no logical or rational reason for this preference.

Good choice.

> There is no logical or rational reason for this preference.

Oh, ignorance!  When told by  President Nixon that the word
"recession" could not be used during testimoney before
Congress,  his economic advisor (Kahn, as I remember)
simply substituted the word "banana".  He testified that there
was one word he was ordered not to say, so he would use
"banana" instead.  "If the administration continues its present
economic policies, there will be a major banana."  Etc.

So, banana is the ultimate substitute word.

*sigh*

If you're not caught /at it/, Doc, /at it/!

What /do/ they teach these doctors, these days?!?

How's the Mrs, by the way?

You remarried?  To the Scissor Sisters, no less?*

Might I ask what happened to the /real/ Mrs. Doc?

*Yes, of course I had to look it up.  I don't even know who they are
(and was surprised to find that the Pepsi chart, which was my first
search string, ended four years ago!)
