Is This a Sentence?

"Examine each moment."

If this is in fact a sentence, it seems to me that the subject is,
implicitly, the reader. That is:

    "You, examine each moment."

So, is the former actually a sentence? I find that I cannot clearly
distinguish the subject and the predicate.

Yes, it is an imperative sentence, with a verb in the imperative mood
(I think the word is mood.)  And, yes, the unspoken. understood
subject is "you" or "You".

It's good that you're interested in all this.  I was harsh in the
previous post, but I think you would enjoy reading some book on
grammar, although I myself don't know of an interesting one. Even a
non-engrossing one might well interest you, say 10 pages every few
days.  Or a chapter every week.
