Using the interactive translator at http://babelfish.altavista.com/ I got:

"All this type of information always aid at the time of giving direction him
of a presentation"

Combined with the little I remember of Spanish, I would translate it as:

"Information of this type always helps give direction during a
presentation."

Hopefully, a better translation will come along soon.

The original sentence was, "Todo este tipo de informacion siempre ayuda a la
hora de darle direccion a una presentacion."

"A la hora" means "timely", and it appears to be modifying "ayuda", which
means "aid".  So the OP's sentence may mean something more like "This kind of
information always helps immediately in  giving direction to a presentation."
I would guess the context is a guide to public speaking, and refers to the
importance of proper introductory material.  Or maybe not.  What the hell,
I'm only guessing.  But if that is the intended meaning, then a less literal
translation would be better, something like, "This kind of information is
needed to guide the listeners into the presentation."

John,

'A la hora de' is modifying  'darle direccion a una presentacion'.
This is shown by changing the order of the clauses:

A la hora de darle direccion a una presentacion todo este tipo de
informacion siempre ayuda
