Swoll

Hello:

Wrt "swoll" instead of "swollen" (and perhaps the lack of "During"
right at the beginning), is this a transcript of colloquial and
perhaps uneducated speach?

The short answer to your question is "yes" as to both "swoll" and
the absence of "during."  On those rare occasions when I've seen the
former word in print, it's been spelled "swole."
