Hi everybody!

Would the adjective "social" in connection with "person" make sense to a
native speaker? Would you think of a person who is very committed to the
well-being of others? Are there other adjectives to describe this
characteristic?

Thanks for your help!

I'd expect a "social person" to mean a "sociable person" -- that is,
one who enjoys the company of others (and who may or may not be
concerned with their well-being).

"Socially committed", perhaps.
