Which i thought was a tad unfair. First, no one said he should care.
Alan posted an on-topic post of an item that contained some egregious
abuses of the English language. Schiffner is welcome to care or not
care as he pleases. Digest, respond or ignore at will.

Second, if trollism is a concern of yours, wasn't Vladimir's off-topic
political sh.t more-deserving of your characterization?

> Comrade Obama's Opinion Of America:
>
> The President Who Hates His Country

which has little to do with English usage, i think.

Then A Man Beaten By Jacks posted:

> >The President Who Hates His Country
>
> Unlike that Nazi c.nt you worship, Obama has never been a member of a
> secessionist terrorist organization that believes in armed treason.

I presume he was talking about George Bush. OK, I didn't like him
either but I wouldn't call him a nazi c.nt. That goes too far, i think.

Vladimir, talking about Obama and Hitler, then added:

> Both with narcisstic personality disorders

followed by more off-topic political sh.t.

Besides, is there a politician anywhere without such a supreme ego that
one cannot say he has a narcissistic personality disorder?

(Yes. I'm an implacable admirer of the late Don Dunstan, once premier
of South Australia, and Helen Clark, former prime minister of New
Zealand and now a senior figure at the United Nations. Neither with
overt hubris, excessive ego or other personality disorder.)

Schiffner, with trollism still festering in his brain, bounced back
with:

> Yet another internationalist troll...if they weren't a bunch of
> f.ckers there wouldn't be so many of them.

Which, apart from anything else, suggests cognitive dissonance and is
surely a non sequitur

Dizzy did the right thing, plonking Vladimir. Soon, I shall do the same.

GFH committed a new sin:

> Try another google-group.  I do not disagree
> with your theory, just your venue.

Thus showing a lack of understanding of usenet and probably a lack of
understanding of Obama

and Schiffner gave us another non sequitur:

> But what would I know...I'm not wrong, I'm correct.

A Man Beaten By Jacks then proved it _is_ possible to become even more
off-topic

> "Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely
> idiotic things I have ever heard...

A well-written put-down but...who the hell is Mr Madison and what did
he say? And who cares?

The last word came from the now-familiar Schiffner:

> you are insulting insanely idiotic people I know

proving that birds of a feather _do_ flock together.

Why, why, WHY? Where did all this off-topic sh.t come from? Looks as
though I must regrettably cross-post to alt.english.usage and four
other groups just to make sure i catch all of the above morons.

Please, morons, keep this sh.t outa alt.english.usage
Schiffner - 06 Jul 2009 14:17 GMT
Snip the signs of a mind that was incapable of comprehension, literary
references and frankly a poor man that is very confused.

> Please, morons, keep this sh.t outa alt.english.usage

Indeed adn you anoth pedant telling other people to NOT do what they
are doing.

Language is a tool that you are missing the subtlties of if you can't
twist it. ;^) Like any other good receipe.

Don't end a sentence with a preposition, dumbfuck.

So in other words, you have to crosspost inappropriately to criticize
what you call inappropriate crossposts?  You're a cretin.l

>Please, morons, keep this sh.t outa alt.english.usage

Flush after you finish sh.tting all over the place, retard.

Got an anger management problem? And what, pray, is wrong with ending
a sentence with a preposition?

It's the kind of English up with which I will not put.

Attributed to Churchill, but probably wrongly.

Unfair?

Your next post should then be to alt.disorders.psychiatric.i-am-a-whiner.

Do you think anyone on USENET cares about fair?  That isn't the point.

You've had a bad day at work.  Your wife burned dinner.  What do you do?

You can't smack your wife around, because then you might get convicted of
domestic violence and have to give up your guns.  You can't kick the cat
because that is a crime now, too.

What can you do?

Just pick an arbitrary post on USENET and generate a nasty reply.

There is no "fair".  This is therapy, not rational discussion.
