Oops; sorry -- scratch that.

Not I/me.

The Wikipedia article gives many names for the game. None is like
"Fraggle".
Of course if you put rock and fraggle together you get Fraggle Rock, a
children's TV series.

Yes, indeed you do - Fraggle Rock is probably the reason I can't
remember the real name - it definitely begins with an 'F'.

I enquired on umtm and Jeff and Marcus came up the Fargling, an
American word for Rock, Paper, Scissors.
A bit like Fraggle! :-D

Reminds me of George Carlin's bit that crying is better than laughing.
The test of his hypothesis was to get on a bus, sit in the front and
start crying; you can ride the bus all day, crying. Then get on
another bus, sit in the front and start laughing; they'll have the
police there before the next stop.

Yeah but when someone writes 'LOL', it does not necessarily mean that
they are actually laughing.

True, but he or she is claiming to be doing so. About the only thing we
can be sure about with each other is that we are reading posts and
keying new ones.

Thanks, Paul - it's from the Finger and Fumbs episode but I can find
no reference to the word Stephen Fry used.
