says Sky and BBC teletext - it beat off some 3-D thing about a dragon.
What a wonderful American expression 'kick-a.s' is - I keep hearing
English star Aaron Johnson saying,
'I'm Kick-a.s!',
a la Michael Keaton's,
'I'm Batman!',
from 1989,
speaking of which, Nicholas Cage appears as Big Daddy, Batman in all
but name and, for the first time, Bob Kane's original gun-toting
character albeit somewhat more murderous! :-D
Nicholas Cage is wonderful and loving it - so is little Chloe Moretz
as Hit Girl.
Go SEE it - you'll love it too!

I enjoyed Kick a.s, but I enjoyed the 3D thing with the dragon more.
This surprised me.

Yes, I noticed the heroic voice - nice touch - was that an Adam West
take-off? :-D

Makes ya proud to be English - Matthew Vaughn the director said it was
'predominately English'!

Yes... the phrasing... the pauses between sections... of sentences
were...pure 1960's... Batman.

It was a lot of fun. Jane Goldman says that there is going to be a
sequel too so Huzzah!

Yep, bring it on - Kick-a.s was so good, when it comes on TV you'll
want to watch it again knowing you'll have fun.

I think the ending so obviously set that fact up, that they might as
well have replaced the final scene with a big on-screen caption saying
"SEQUEL COMING! WATCH THIS SPACE!". :)

Most movies do this nowadays.

I haven't seen any quite as blatant as this one though. :)

Oh yes and the small ears - the TV show was criticised for Batman's
small ears but Adam West said in his autobiography, Back to the
Batcave, that the idea was they would allow for close-ups on the small
screen.
Nicholas Cage's Big Daddy cowl also has small ears!
