must be knowing

"He must be knowing it."
somebody said.

I think it should be like this,

"He must know it."

Does the first sentence right? or wrong?
I'm asking this because it doesn't look right.

Wrong verb.

"Is"

Wrong in Standard British and American English, but it might be used
in Indian English; native English speakers in India have different
usages, especially of the progressive aspect.
