So I'm listening to a radio program in my car, and the host describes competing
schools of thought on how best to adapt a folk song to a popular setting....

Then he mutters "white shoes"....

Comments?...r

It's not perfect, because the quality of the first vowel varies between the
two.

How about "the sons raise meat" and "the sun's rays meet"?
