I hope her grasp of other people's bodies is more skilful than her
grasp of English.

This begs the question "Is anal retentive spelled with or without a
hyphen?" Nuff said.

I search and search for the conclusion and for the premise that is
included it.  Not finding it, I raise the question: what question is
being begged?

I apologize.  I used this expression incorrectly.  I used beg in the
sense that it (meaning the above post) calls out, by the very nature of
its content, for a response and that my remark about the level of anal
retentiveness that it (again meaning the above post) contains seemed to
be the most appropriate one at the time.  So I really should have said
- based on my final assessment of said a.r - is "which leads me to ask
'is anal retentive...blah blah blah'", since the person who is
concerned about the placement of the reply would likely be concerned
about the placement of said hyphen.   Further, considering the
response, I am sorry that I responded to the humor of his initial
comment......NOW.....Nuff Said.
