Worse is "At this moment in time" which is a different fettle of
kish, because "moment" already means "point in time".

Sung equally beautifully by Abba on the album "The Visitors"

What?  Do you think "cut and run" was on the 2006 list?

That word had one Google hit preceding this story.  I think the word
might aptly replace the word "master" in this paragraph (also drawn
from the link in the OP):

BOASTS -- See classified advertisements for houses, says Morris Conklin
of Lisboa, Portugal, as in "master bedroom boasts his-and-her
fireplaces -- never 'bathroom apologizes for cracked linoleum,' or
'kitchen laments pathetic placement of electrical outlets.'"

I'm still somewhat dischuffed by "PIN Number".  At start-up my mobile
phone (AmE "cell") prompts me for my "PIN code".  Shurely shome
mishtake?  Should be "PIC code"?

No, no:  "Personal PIN Number code".

It's what you input into an "Automated ATM Machine".

"And the other thing is..."

When I have had to talk a customer through a long complicated procedure on
the computer, finally sorted the problem and look forward to returning to
my coffee and browsing the web, said customer says the above words instead
of "Thank you, goodbye." Aaaaarghhhh!!!!!

I'd like to nominate "verify", as used by call-center drones to mean
"tell me", for summary execution....r
