Don't forget the copies to the boss, head of department, clerical staff
and all your colleagues.

Being retired I perform all those functions but there's no harm in
having plenty of spare copies.

I have noticed, since retirement, that my need to buy reams of paper and
printer ink has reduced considerably. I suppose it helps that most of my
friends and family now have email, which was not the case even 10 years ago.

That would be the same for me and my wife in respect of
correspondence with family and friends.

However, she is a member of a number of craft groups. She produces a
magazine four or five times a year. She also teaches lacemaking on a
freelance basis for which she produces printed materials. This all
uses a lot of paper and toner/ink.
