improving my english

Hi friends

I am a native spanish speaker and in order to improve my english
I'would like writing this group and that some of you can help me to
correct my grammar. I've been practicing english several years ago but
I still fell that I'm very far from a good 'english'. I think this
group would be what I need...I'd like to write some question about
english grammar and sometimes write a complete phrase and that some of
you can help me.

I hope to be in the rigth group!

Either "I've been practicing English for several years" or "I practiced (or
"was practicing") English several years ago"; I am not sure what you mean:
¿practicaste el inglés hace varios años o has estado practicando el inglés
durante varios años? La traducción literal de tu frase sería "he estado
practicando el inglés hace varios años", lo que sugiere que hace años
practicaste el inglés, lo dejaste y ahora vuelves a practicarlo; ¿es eso lo
que querías decir?.
Also, remember that words like "English", "Spanish", and similars, are
capitalized in English.

I am also a native Spaniard, and I have found that this group can be very
helpful to improve my English, which is still far from perfection.

It's Bonde and don't be overwhelming. That's the worst thing you can do.
Imagine posting something in a language not native to you with native
speakers everywhere and getting 47 responses telling you you are wrong.

In English we always capitalize "Spanish" and "English", as well as names of
other languages. This is not the case in Spanish, right?

"I would like TO WRITE TO this group SO that".

"practicing English FOR several years". "Several years ago" can only be used
with the past tense and is used when talking about a specific event that
happened at some earlier point in time.

LOL! You're better at it than I am at Spanish, and I studied Spanish for 5
years. It's "feel", not "fell". "Fell" is the past tense of "fall". And you
don't need the "a" in the above sentence.

Use either "some questions" or "a question" ("unas preguntas" vs. "una
pregunta").

LOL! THAT may be where you're wrong. The people here are generally very
hostile, and they assume most foreigners and students are something called
"trolls". Like I said, though, I'd be more than willing to help you, and would
like if you could give me some advice for improving my Spanish as well. We
will probably have to ignore comments from others here. Do you come from
alt.usage.espanol, BTW?
