I'm trying to understand if there's a difference in the below constructions:

  (some statement). Therefore it seems...
  (some statement). Thus it seems...
  (some statement). Hence it seems...

Does the use of "therefore", "thus" and "hence" indicate any difference
in meaning above? Or can they be used interchangeably?

("Thus" is my personal favourite when writing English, but I'm trying to
find stylistic alternatives.)
