Or barn doors. Wikipedia has an entry for barn, from which I
paraphrase:
A barn often has stalls, pens, or mangers of varying shapes and sizes
used to shelter large and small animals. The enclosures for large
animals are called stalls and are usually located on the lower floor.
Barn doors might be divided in upper and lower halves, the upper
halves for the mow or loft above, and the lower for the animal
enclosures below.
