DNB library card access

Not quite OT here. OED lets me in perfectly normally, but when I whistle
up the sign-in screen to get into DNB using my Coventry library card, it
gives me a "Page not found" error when I enter the card number and click
"Go". This message appears on a DNB screen, not the Library one, but an
email from Oxford Reference says it's the library's problem, not theirs:
can this be true? Does it work all right for other readers?

Works OK for me (Hampshire library number).  The DNB logon is case-
sensitive -- it chokes if I use "b123456789"  instead of
"B123456789" -- but that's the only problem I've ever had with it.

I logon via the Hants library website link rather than directly from
the OED website;  don't know if that affects things.

Until you sort it out, this might be a useful alternative access:

Thanks Les, but (if I'm seeing straight) that seems to be corpora only,
and it's the DNB I'm having trouble with. Thanks to the others, too:
it'll come out in the wash, I daresay.

Works fine via Oxfordshire libraries. I need to preface my card number with
an 'L'.
