"One might say that Jeff Immelf is as much an unlucky
victim of poor timing as Jack Welch was the beneficiary
of felicitous timing."

I have problem interpreting this sentence. Would you please
help me paraphrase it in a plain and faithful way? Thanks a lot.

One might say that Jeff Immelf had as much bad luck as Jack Welch had
good luck - and both were due to their timing.
