Hello, this is probably easy as pie for you all, but this non-writer and
somewhat illiterate needs help.
What is the correct or best way to write a statement containing particulars
?
Example:
I made three transfers for the amounts of $100, $200, and $300, in April,
June and July.
I made a transfer of the amount of $100 in May, and another transfer of $200
in June.
In May, I made a transfer for the amount of $100, and in June another
transfer for the amount of $200.
Help appreciated

Well you've lost the July payment in the last two, which doesn't help!
If I used the first, I'd put a "respectively" on the end, otherwise it
could read that you made three transfers in each month.
And that's what I'd do, although the second is fine and the third isn't
wrong, but just isn't as fluid.
You can cut out the "amounts" in all of them I think - "I made three
transfers: $100, $200 and $300 in April, June and July respectively"; "I
made a transfer of $100 in May, one of $200 in June and a third of $300
in July" or "In May I transferred $100, in June $200 and in July $300".
For more than three or - at most - four I'd go for:
I made transfers in March to August as follows:
March $120
April $710
...

I suggest that when dealing with money it might help to be a tad more
specific, especially if some went astray
eg
I made the following transfer transaction in 2008;
April 26th: $100, reference number 34567 via ... (name of transfer
agency, sort code if there is one, full address, even if local)
June 3rd $200, reference details AZ45R via ... (as above)
July 15th $300, to the cute girl at (business, address) who told me
their computer had crashed and that I didn't need a receipt because
but I could trust her.
