Heard on the news tonight: Michael Jackson's father said that Michael
would have been touched by the adoration shown by people over his
death.

Kind of unusual to show adoration "over" a death. (Well, I suppose they
could show it if they were hovering over his body as he died.)

Anyway, the written reports didn't quote Michael's father as saying
"would of been," a phrase being discussed in another thread.
