I don't believe Billy Mays did the ShamWow commercials.

On the TV show "Pitchmen", they would occasionally spin up Billy by
mentioning "ShamWow".

Do you have any idea how incomprehensible this is to me?

No, I don't.

Assuming that it is substantially incomprehensible, part of it could be
researched:

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitchmen>
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamwow#ShamWow.21>

If you are uncertain about "spin up", it's somewhat akin to the UK
phrase "wind up", at least as I understand the latter from watching
"The Office".

Should you need any further explanation, please let me know and I will
attempt to assist you.

Oh I know I could search for it.  I just found it fascinating that a
bunch of you were talking what came across to me as total and complete
gibberish.  I've never heard of Billy Mays, Pitchman, ShamWow or (for
that matter) to spin up.  Pretty impressive, huh?

Ah. Well, perhaps the information provided will be of use in clarifying
things for you.

That's two of you who mentioned that, and I nearly mentioned it in my
post, but I think it's worse than that. We can always do cricket and
baseball to each other.

The appropriate response would seem more along the lines of the
children's TV flashbacks in Life on Mars.

I already researched that when there was discussion of the TV series
some time back. I'm sure I don't understand it all, but enough to make
the scenes in the show clearer.

Well, Billy did some commercials about Shammy (I think) but "Sham Wow"
is a "Vince" presentation. (Have you seen Vince doing the chopper/gratey
commercial? Good one.)

ShamWow has been on the market for a good long time, now.  I suspect I
simply associate it with the yelling delivery of Billy Mays.  I have
seen the less overstated delivery of another guy, but am not convinced
that Billy never did this one.  (I was in a store yesterday and saw
"Shammy" advertised as "the original German product", but no particular
presenter's photo accompanied the blurb on the label.)

Did you see Vince with his lips bitten after he tried to stick his tongue
down her throat in a Fla motel..
an even better one.

complaints reviews.
