Us old farts do. I used to see the show from time to time (my
family did not yet have a TV so I had to watch TV at a friend's
house).

Of course. I can still "hear" her theme song in my brain.

When I saw the story, late last night, I emailed it to my husband (who
was fast asleep at the time). He certainly remembers "Margie," too.

After see the news item, I started looking at some oldies on You-Tube. I
ended up concentrating on George Gobel. He still makes me laugh out
loud. (Humor /was/ more innocent in those days. Corny, too, but funny.)
