Thanks.
I've listened to a few minutes of it and will catch up with the rest
later.

I haven't had a chance to watch the whole thing (too busy watching
Torchwood, which was excellent) but I thought the chairman's opening
remarks were quite entertaining. And David Crystal didn't look at all as
I had imagined.

I have yet to see a Torchwood episode in full, probably because I
watched Grease (again) last night, then the latest Doc Martin episode,
also excellent.

Torchwood was extremely good. Some excellent acting, especially Peter
Capaldi. And incredibly scary in somewhat unexpected ways.

I found it good but so scary in the unexpected expected ways that I
honestly wasn't sure the main plot construct wasn't just possibly the
most horrible thing I'd ever seen.

I enjoy good acting, of course, and scary sounds good. Would I be able
to follow the plot, having missed a few episodes?

It was all on in a single week;  five episodes over five nights.  But
it's being repeated on BBC3 starting next Friday, one episode per week.
I'm not sure if you can get BBC3 though.

Ah, you'll probably have to wait until it comes round again on BBC2 then.

In the meantime, I will be sure not to miss "Freefall" on BBC2,
tonight.
