lexicographers?

What did most lexicographers actually major in?

Which colleges or universities have the best programs in lexicography?

At an undergraduate level, the major Linguistics. At a graduate level,
again Linguistics concentrating on Lexicography.

(Computational) Linguistics, Lexicology, and Morphology.
