Hello:

Couldn't find a confirmation in slang dictionaries that
"raspberries" means "balls."

Is that common?

"If Chaz ever laid a hand on me," she said sweetly, "I would've kicked
him in the raspberries."

Not common, but abundantly clear from context.  Pretty much any hanging,
roughly spherical or ellipsoidal fruit will do: cherries, grapes, kumquats.
