Need help with these sentences. What's wrong and why?

Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Why is it you always have the biggest of the two apples?

There's nothing wrong with this, but whoever wrote your coursebook
almost certainly believes it should be "Everybody is entitled to his
opinion".

> Why is it you always have the biggest of the two apples?

They're looking for a comparative; 'bigger'.
