Hello everyone!
Recently someone asked me if I knew an English sport or game which is called
(and here I have a problem, because I don't know the spelling but only
pronunciation) ['relouz]. The pronunciation may not be 100% correct, but if
anyone can give me the correct spelling and some information about what it
exactly is, I would be grateful.

At first I thought the person had heard the word "release"
in a broadcast on sports and imagined it was the name
of a game or a sport.

On second thought - could it be a relay race?
(sztafeta, if you know what I mean)
