Confused about three times three...

Hello,

I need to write about an experiment in which an object
is photographed nine times. Three different lenses
are used, andthrough each of them three photos
are taken. 3*3=9. So far, so good.

But I want to be more concise and say something like this:

The object was photographed three times with each
of the three different lenses.

I had already written just that when it dawned on me
that this sentence could be understood to mean ONE
picture taken through lens A, one through B etc,
producing a total of just 3*1=3 photos. And this is not
what I am trying to say.

Am I right to worry? Or is my sentence not so ambiguous
after all?

Thanks in advance for any enlightment,
Leszek.

The object was photographed nine times using three different lenses
(three photos for each lense).

The greatest ideas are always simple.

Thanks a lot,
