well vs good

It is well to note that a is p.

It is good to note that a is p.

I think there is a slight difference of meaning. The first implies more
of less "You should note ..." or "It is important to note ...", whereas
the second implies more "It is a good thing to note ..." or "I am
pleased that ..."

The first one also sounds more formal.
