Here are some Great Quotes that I found when teaching, that I
then illustrated using PowerPoint.  They were created a few  years ago
when I was teaching English, and were sent out one a day over the
course of the school year to the faculty at my school.  They
originally were animated and accompanied with music!
I also used them as "warm-ups" with my students and they were
subsequently also used by many other teachers in my school district as
well.
You may recall that I created some video presentations with these
quotes as well, but with those presentations the quotes often came and
went so quickly that I was afraid they couldn't be fully appreciated
and enjoyed.  With this posting of the individual files you can think
about each quote as long as you like and then click to move on to the
next one.
I have also configured this set of pictures (quotes) so that if
you chose to download any particular quote you will see it at its full
screen quality!
I hope you enjoy these and find some inspiration in them as well!

Thank you for sharing those quotations. Like you, I love quotations
and have found them a very valuable tool in teaching.

Unfortunately, I couldn't access your quotes. Is your posting for MAC
users only? Consider me curious.
