Students, What makes your teacher good or bad in your classes?

Hi Dave,
I often go to classes in subjects other than
English.

Here are some of my thoughts on what makes a good
teacher, in no particular order.
I also try to follow these in my
own teaching activities.

Always punctual in starting and
finishing.

Well-prepared.

Genuinely interested in
each student as a person.

Willing to depart from the
original lesson plan if a better teaching opportunty arises, or if
the original plan is not working.

Honest, eg willing to say
'I don't know, but I'll find out'.

Willing to really
listen to students' questions.

Sense of
humour.

Understands that each student learns in a different
way.

Kind.

Good clssroom-maagement
skills.

Able to give clear instructions for activities and
assignments.

I could continue, but enough.
