I thoroughly agree with your sentiments here. It seem that the compilers
of this test take the most obscure and convoluted stylistically
grotesque sentences imaginable and expect people to be able to decipher
them under exam conditions. If i had to sit such a test I would consider
protesting under the Charter of Human Rights, which (if I recall
correctly) forbids the use of inhuman and cruel treatment. ;-)

You wonder right?

But the adverb "potentially" should be removed from the generally wayward
statement in question (if you see what I mean), because the adjective
"hazardous" already means "having the potential to cause harm".
