In the sentence:

"Insertional and rest abnormalities on needle electromyography
can be apparent within 7 to 10 days after nerve injury."

what is the time that these abnormalities appear?
1-days 0 to 7
2-days 0 to 10
3-days 7 to 10

in option 3(days 7 to 10) there is no abnormality in days 0 to 7.

| In the sentence:
| "Insertional and rest abnormalities on needle electromyography
[quoted text clipped - 3 lines]
| 2-days 0 to 10
| 3-days 7 to 10

It is possible abnormalities will appear in days 0-7, but unlikely.
The earliest sign of abnormality will probably appear in days 7-10, but
sometimes will not appear until later than day 10.

| in option 3(days 7 to 10) there is no abnormality in days 0 to 7.

That would be written 'between 7 and 10 days after'

That is my understanding of how British English would use the phrase.

So as I understand from your reply, these abnormalities can occur any day from
0 to say infinity but more probable between days 7 to 10.Am I right?

The statement doesn't exclude days 0-7, but it would be unusual.
