Hello,
Need some explanation of the following.
(I have entered the site
http://www.dotnet-webhosting.com/dotnet-hosting/default.aspx, that has the
following words, and I want to know, if that means, the Sql Server DB is
free, or I need to pay for that 50 euro).
(and also, can I use the sql server for my sites' development) ?
FREE SQL Server DB
(Development only - One off 50 euro - Ideal for learning SQL server).
Thanks :)

Actually, that's 50 UK pounds (about 72 Euro today), and yes,
this is extra. "One off" means that you only pay this once,
unlike the 119.64 UKP that you have to pay every year for web
hosting.

I'm not a database expert, but if I understand this properly,
what they offer is a sample SQL database which you can use to
develop applications. The applications will be of no real use
unless you have a real database of your own to point them at -
they obviously can't provide your data for you. That would mean
having your own server with a permanent Internet connection, in
which case you probably wouldn't need to buy web hosting from
DotNet Hosting UK.
It all sounds quite expensive to me, but I've never wanted to
have a web site with all these features.

I think the web site commerical is a bit tricky.
From my understanding, you have to pay 119.64 UK per year in order to
keep your web site host. And if you like to learn SQL Server Database,
you need to pay 50 UK for setting your account which is one time fee
only.
You do not have to pay the SQL server database fee every year.
If you don't keep your web site host which you have to pay 119.64 evey
year,
you cannot practice SQL database.

This is a great offer. You only pay £50 once to use the SQL Server
Database no yearly charge. Probably the best SQL Server deal in the UK.

This is not correct. They provide everything. You DO NOT need your own
server.
I hope this helps.
G,
