English just about any place in the world, usually
with quite decent wages.
Moving around isn't possible for me, and I'm not very interested in
teaching. I'd rather get into technical writing, copy writing, or some
form of business writing. Technical writing interests me the most
because I have a comp-sci degree, but I've heard a lot of horror
stories about it after the dot-bomb. Hell, I'd even consider patent
writing if it pays.
As for programming, it no longer interests me so I'm moving on.

There are lots of jobs doing technical writing (manuals, user guides,
service manuals etc) in the defence sector. Most software houses have
technical writers of some description. You could even try for a job
in a help desk.
