Hi! I am a qualfied and very experienced teacher of English as a
foreign language. I am looking for an exciting new teaching position
with (if possible) additional responsibilities in management and
personnel. I will be available to work from May 2005 and wondered if
anyone out there could suggest suitable places to apply to. I have
worked in Brazil, Thailand and Nepal as well as London. I speak French
and Portuguese and have advanced IT skills. I am a registered examiner
with Edexcel and am currently studying part time at the Open University.

Positions all around the world are advertised daily.

Yeah, and if I knew of any "exciting new teaching position" anywhere,
I'd apply for it myself. But after 4 years of management and personnel
responsibilities in Tokyo and 2 years of personnel responsibilities
here in Taiwan, I can say that I love the lack of administrative
responsibilities in my present university teaching job. All I do is
teach. That gives me time for the rest of my life.

OK, thank you, that's interesting. Do you know if there are places
where you can do EAP qualifications?

Yes, thank you. I have done that. They have a lot of places don't they?
Can't say I've ever followed up on any of them.
