Another pair of shoes

Is that a common idiom on the right side of the pond?:)

Here in Italy we say: "Another pair of sleeves" (Un altro paio di maniche).

Not quite.  We say "in somebody else's shoes", or "put yourself in my
shoes", which means viewing something from another person's position.  
But we don't have other people's sleeves.

Only Dio's ( the original poster) shirts I hope!

No one will sue you here in Italy.
You can steal his underpants as well if you like...
