Sounds a bit cumbersome, and at the same time a bit over- familiar, to
me. Do you know him? Maybe somethiung like "Perhaps you would like to
preview my ..." would be better.

Besides, there's absolutely nothing wrong with "welcomed". The "is" is
the problem.
"Any comments are welcome" or "Any comments will be welcomed" are both
just fine.
