I hope it gets resolved quickly. In the mean time you might have a look at what O2 or Vodaphone offer in the way of connection via their networks. The hardware is just a thing a bit bigger than a memory stick that plugs into a USB port. I know someone who was in the same bind as you after moving house and they got one on a free 30 day trial by the end of which they had a proper connection and they sent the gizmo back.
