What accent is that?  Mississippi?  Do people there really

Is there any word or expression for someone who has already gained
benefit or resources. This type of people usually are conservative and
are not willing to give up what they have or possess already.
Something like: current beneficiary, benefit possessor, resource

We've all heard the phrase "Barking up the wrong tree". I had always
taken that to mean "climbing up the wrong tree", since this fits the
context in which the phrase is used.
However, I can't find a definition of "bark" in the dictionary that

For a polite asking, I think please is best, and propose > suggest >
recommend.

1. Can I replace the sentence I've worked for 2 hours(I've been working
for 2 hours?) with "I'm working 2 hours"?
