Regarding the multiplication of quaternions -- I originally learned it as i*k = j, k*i = -j; j*i = k, i*j = -k; and k*j = i, j*k = -i. However, the article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quaternion has it described the other way

A Respected Regular used the term "... which I should have done from the git". I understand the meaning - "from the git go" which is presumably a variance of "from the get go". But I had to read it three times, because of the UK meaning of "git".
