well, you know, this week I watched a cool special on skynews, it was the "the canoe man story" that was a special (very funny for an italian watcher) about the missing englishman who disappeared for long time to stole lots of money from the assurance companies...

According to every dictionary I have been able to find, the proper British spelling of "metre" ends in -re, whereas the proper British spelling of "perimeter" ends in -er. Is there any reasonable explanation for this inconsistency?

please tell me what's the difference in usage of these two verbs: "must" and "should". which way is more convenient? - "he must do smth" / "it must to be done" / "i must do smth" or - "he should do smth" / "it should be done" / "i should do smth" etc.
